JBTs recruitment process

Chandigarh, 13th February, 2019: Samagra Shiksha, Chandigarh advertised 418 posts of JBTs in the month October, 2018. 21,578 candidates applied for these posts. As part of recruitment process a Written Test was held on 27.01.2019 at 43 Examination Centres in schools/colleges of UT, Chandigarh, in which 11,686 candidates appeared for the written test.
The test was conducted by NITTTR, Sector-26, Chandigarh, since the complete work related to the recruitment of JBTs under Samagra Shiksha, Chandigarh has been assigned to NITTTR. Result of written test of 11686 candidates who appeared for the test has been declared and uploaded on the website of NITTTR i.e. www.recruit.nitttrchd.ac.in.
The process of verification of documents of the candidates as per the merit list under various categories will be done shortly. Notice of the schedule of document verification and other details pertaining to the document verification process will also be uploaded on the website of the NITTTR.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
