Chandigarh hosts civil servants from Myanmar


Chandigarh, 3rd April 2019: Chandigarh Administration hosted twenty civil servants from Myanmar, of Deputy Commissioner Level, for an exposure visit today. The programme was conducted in coordination with National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) as part of 1st Mid Career Training Programme for District Administrators of Myanmar under the aegis of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.
Sh. Mandip Singh Brar, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Sachin Rana, Additional Deputy Commissioner and Sh. K K Yadav, Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh interacted with the participants during training programme. Commissioner M.C, Chandigarh, presented regarding Chandigarh Smart City and presentation on Development Schemes and Indian Red Cross Society was given by Additional Deputy Commissioner.  SDM Central, Smt. Nazuk Kumar was the nodal officer for the programme.
The Deputy Commissioner also discussed his nature of duties/responsibility as Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, U.T, Chandigarh. The delegates visited Capitol Complex, Rock Garden, District Control Centre for election and Indian Red Cross Society Sarai, PGI.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
