Places for holding Public Meetings for the forthcoming General Election to Lok Sabha, 2019


Chandigarh, 2nd April, 2019: In view of the forthcoming General Election to Lok Sabha, 2019 the following places are hereby notified for holding Public Meeting.
All the law/bye-laws applicable to U.T., Chandigarh will also be applied while allotting the spaces. The guidelines under Model Code of Conduct issued by the Election Commission of India will also be applicable while holding Public meetings etc at the following places.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
