Govt. Model High School,-II, Maloya, Chandigarh made operational now




Chandigarh, 5th August 2019. The newly constructed Government Model High School-II, Maloya, Chandigarh became operational from today i.e. 5.8.2019 in the presence of  Sh. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, Director School Education, Chandigarh Administration,   Mrs. Anujit Kaur, District Education Officer, U.T., Chandigarh and  Mr. I.S. Gulati, XEN, CP Div No.1, Engineering Department, U.T., Chandigarh.   The students from Classes 1st  to 10th attended the School and the current enrolment of the school is 263.  Seventeen teachers from Govt. High School, Colony No.4, Chandigarh have been transferred to this school and 10 newly recruited teachers under Samagra Shiksha have also been posted in this school.  Moreover 12 Group ‘D’ employees have also been shifted from Govt. High School, Colony No.4, Chandigarh.  The admission process has already been started and registration is still going on in the school.
