One-day state mourning as mark of respect to Smt.Sushma Swaraj

Chandigarh, 7^th August 2019: As a mark of respect to Smt. Sushma Swaraj, Union External Home Affairs, one day State Mourning will be observed throughout the Union Territory on 7^th August 2019, and the National Flag will be flown at half mast throughout the Union Territory, Chandigarh where it is flown regularly. In continuation to the same, half day will be observed as holiday in all Government Offices/Boards/Corporations including Educational Institutions under the Chandigarh Administration.

Chandigarh 10 th August 2017: In compliance of the directions of the Government of India to take steps for improvement of ranking in “Ease of Doing Business’ index, the Chandigarh Administration has notified Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) 2017.
