Punjab Governor and UT Administrator Badnore Condoles the passing away of Arun Jaitley


Chandigarh, 24th August 2019 : Punjab Governor and UT Administrator VP Singh Badnore expressed profound grief over the demise of senior BJP stalwart and former Union Finance Minister Sh. Arun Jaitley .

In his condolence message, the Governor said in the death of Arun Jaitley the nation has lost a distinguished leader, prolific orator, able Administrator and a legal luminary. Sh. Jaitley possessed rare and exceptional qualities of head and heart, said the Governor.

Terming it his personal loss, the Governor said the void created by the death of  Sh.Arun Jaitley was difficult to fill. His contribution as the India's Finance Minister was immense and unforgettable especially the economic reforms that took place during his tenure as Finance Minister.  His committed democratic attitude and dedication to the well-being of the people would be always remembered.

 The Governor prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the family and friends of Arun Jaitley to bear the irreparably loss and Grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
