Admission to Class XI in Govt. Senior Secondary Schools of UT, Chandigarh

Chandigarh, 10th September 2019: Education Department, Chandigarh Administration is going to start Humanities Stream only in Evening Shift in two schools i.e. GMSSS-19 and GMSSS-23, Chandigarh.  The students who didn’t get admission in any of the previous four counselling’s (Boys below 45% and Girls below 40% in Humanities only) are hereby informed to fill in the registration form (available on the website of Education Department, Chandigarh Administration i.e. www.chdeducation.gov.in) and submit the same in either GMSSS-19 or GMSSS-23, Chandigarh on 11 September (Wednesday) and 12 September (Thursday) 2019. It is also to be noted that any migration or change in stream is NOT allowed in this counselling.

The students are required to attach photocopy of their detail marks certificate along with the registration from.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. “Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
