Implementation of Right to Services Act Session held at CHB



Chandigarh, 17th September 2019: A sensitization session about Right to Services Act was organized at the Chandigarh Housing Board. Shr. K.K. Jindal, Commissioner Right to Services Commission, UT Chandigarh apprised the Designated Officers and Appellate Authorities about provisions of the Act, role and responsibilities of the officers. 

The following Services of the Chandigarh Housing Board have been included in the notification issued on 13.09.2019:

The officers of the Chandigarh Housing Board informed that for better service delivery, the Chandigarh Housing Board is in the process of making many of its services online. All out efforts will be made by the Chandigarh Houses board to promptly deliver the specific services within the prescribed time limits.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
