CITCO sets up its first compressed Natural Gas (CNG) dispensing pump on the Madhya Marg.


Chandigarh, October 1, 2019 : In order to meet the continuously growing demand for CNG in Chandigarh, CITCO has set up its first compressed Natural Gas (CNG)  dispensing pump on the Madhya Marg,  Sector 17 Chandigarh here today . CITCO caters to a large number of vehicles from its existing four Petrol Stations spread across the tricity . The  newly opened station is run by CITCO in tandem with HPCL for Petrol & diesel and by Indian Oil-Adani Gas Pvt Ltd for CNG ( a joint venture of the Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) and Adani Gas Ltd)

Inaugurated by the Managing Director of CITCO , Ms Jasvinder kaur IAS , in presence of Chief General Manager CITCO ,  Mr Rakesh Kumar Popli PCS and other officials & staff of CITCO ,  The CNG station will be operational for 24 hours . Petrol, diesel & CNG being the basis necessity in today scenario of  our life today, opening a CNG station is a prestigious deal for CITCO . CNG gas will be available for Rs 55.11 per kg.

This being the CITCO’s first CNG pump and being a UT GOVT entity, it will surely boost the sales of CNG run vehicles in the city and will also help neighboring state people owning CNG vehicles to come to Chandigarh without worrying about the availability of CNG.
In near future, CITCO is planning to open two more outlets in Chandigarh.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
