E-auction of new series “CH01-CA” along with e-auction of left over fancy/special registration numbers of previous series "CH01BZ", “CH01-BY”, “CH01-BX”, “CH01-BW”, “CH01-BV”, “CH01-BU”, “CH01-BT” & “CH01-BS”


Chandigarh.13 Jan,2020: It is for the information to the general public/residents of Chandigarh that the registration for participating in e-auction of vehicle registration numbers of new series “CH01-CA” along with e-auction of left over fancy/special registration numbers of previous series “CH01-BZ”, “CH01-BY”, “CH01-BX”, “CH01-BW”, “CH01-BV”, “CH01-BU”, “CH01-BT” & “CH01-BS” (list enclosed) will be started from 15.01.2020 (10:00 AM) and will continue till 21.01.2020 (05:00 PM). The e-auction/bidding will be started from 22.01.2020 (10:00 AM) to 24.01.2020 (05:00PM).

The owner of the vehicle can register himself/herself on the National Transport website: https://vahan.parivahan.gov.in/fancy and the link of the same is available on the Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website: www.chdtransport.gov.in and obtain the Unique Acknowledgement Number (UAN). The owner of the vehicle who has purchased the vehicle at Chandigarh address only will be allowed to participate in e-auction. Sale Letter i.e. Form No. 21, UID i.e. Aadhaar Card and address proof of Chandigarh are mandatory to participate in the e-auction. After getting himself/herself registered on the above cited National Transport website or/through Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website, the owner of the vehicle will deposit the fee for registration for participating in e-auction and reserve amount of the special/choice registration numbers in the O/o Registering & Licensing Authority, Near Municipal Corporation Building Sector-17, U.T., Chandigarh by way of DD in favor of “Registering & Licensing Authority, U.T., Chandigarh” payable at Chandigarh.

The detail of fee for registration for participating in e-auction, the list of reserve price for each special number, the detail of left over registration number of series “CH01BZ”, “CH01-BY”, “CH01-BX”, “CH01-BW”, “CH01-BV”, “CH01-BU”, “CH01-BT” & “CH01-BS” procedure of online auction and terms & Conditions for e-auction is available on Chandigarh Administration, Transport Department website: www.chdtransport.gov.in . Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
