In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 45 of the Fundamental Rules and all other powers enabling him in this behalf, the Administrator, Union Territory Chandigarh, Union Territory Chandigarh, hereby makes the following Rules further to amend the “Government Residences (Chandigarh Administration General Pool) Allotment Rules, 1996” namely:-

11.     (i)        These rules may be called the “Government Residences    (Chandigarh Administration General Pool) Allotment Rules, 2020”.

(ii)       They shall come into force from the date of their publication in             the Chandigarh Administration Gazette.

22.     In the Government Residences (Chandigarh Administration General Pool) Allotment Rules, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the Rules), the World “fifty times the normal license fee” shall be substituted as “100 times of the normal license fee for the first three months of overstay and 200 times from the fourth month onwards till actual vacation” in Rule- SR-317- AM-21.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
