Chandigarh.6th March,2020: The Department of Food & Supplies, UT, Chandigarh, transfers the monthly food subsidy amount, directly into the registered bank account of the registered beneficiaries.  The registered beneficiaries under Priority Households Category will get Rs. 125.46 per month/per member.  The registered Antodya Anna Yojana (AAY) beneficiaries will get Rs. 878.22 per family per month.  The subsidy amount is revised by Government of India from time to time.   The food subsidy amount for the month of March, 2020, has been made available for the registered beneficiaries of UT Chandigarh.  They are requested to check their registered bank account in this regard.  The beneficiaries can check the details of the registered bank account on the department’s website: www.chdfood.gov.in  Transparency portal  Check Aadhar/ Bank Link Status.

For any query or complaint, a toll free Helpline Number 1800-180-2068 or 1967 or Consumer Helpline Number 1800-180-2079 is in place.  The beneficiaries can also contact the District Food & Supplies Officer (DFSO) for redressal of their grievances.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
