AMENDED STANDARD OPERATING PROTOCOL (SOP) FOR INSTITUTIONAL QUARANTINE OF CHANDIGARH RESIDENTS ARRIVING FROM ABROAD


In exercise of the powers, he undersigned, in his capacity as Principal Secretary Health, hereby orders the following amendment in the Standard operating Protocol (SOP) for Institutional Quarantine of Chandigarh Residents Arriving from Abroad, for strict implementation by concerned authorities.
Amendment
The contents of Para No. 2 (Protocol) of the above said SOP (Passengers shall by institutionally quarantined for a period of 14 days. If they do not develop any symptom of COVID during 14 days, they will be allowed to go home and will undertake self-monitoring of their health for 14 more days as per protocol) shall be read as under as per latest guidelines issued by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on 24.05.2020:
“Before boarding, al travellers shall give an undertaking that they would undergo mandatory quarantine for 14 days- 7 days paid institutional at their own cost, followed by 7 days isolation at home with self-monitoring of health.”

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote".
