HEALTH DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION


Whereas the wearing of 3 ply mask or cloth mask has been made compulsory by Chandigarh Disaster Management Authority vide No. 13180/H-III(5)-2020/4422 dated 9th April, 2020 for all persons moving for whatsoever purpose and under whatever reason/authority in public places, like street, hospital, office and markets.
And whereas, it has also been notified that anybody violating these instructions will be punishable under Section 188 of Indian Penal Code (48 of 1860) and the Police Authorities are empowered to immediately arrest the violators.
Now, in exercise of powers conferred under Rule 12.9 of Epidemic Disease Act, 1897 notified vide No. EPI/ADM/2020/01 dated 13th March, 2020, the undersigned in his capacity as Principal Secretary Health, Chandigarh Administration hereby directs that every violation of not wearing a mask will be punishable by imposing a fine of Rs 500/-. Non-payment of the fine by the violator will attract proceedings under Section 188 of IPC.  Every office designated below shall be responsible for implementing of these directions:-
a)     Tehsildar and Naib Tehsildar
b)     Additional/Joint Commissioners, Municipal Corporation.
c)     Medical Officer of Health, Municipal Corporation .
d)     Medical Officers as designated by Director Health & Family Welfare.
e)     Station House Officers.
f)      Any other officer/official specifically designated by Deputy Commissioner from time to time.

Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
