9 New Dental Chair have been installed for dental screening of residents and children of Anganwadis and Schools


Chandigarh.20 July,2020: AYUSHMAN BHARAT Health and Wellness Centres have been envisioned with the objective of providing comprehensive health care services including dental to the beneficiaries of the area. UT Chandigarh has been a pioneer in restructuring the existing RBSK & RKSK and providing services of Dental medical officers and AYUSH at all the HWCs in daily basis. These HWCs have been strengthened further by providing Dental Chairs at the remaining HWCs also thereby making 100% provision of Dental screening facilities.

 9 New Dental Chair have been installed at following locations

1.H W C Dhanas ( Milk Colony)
2.H W C Ramdarbar
3.H W C Daddu Majra
4.H W C Maulijagran
5.HWC sec 19
6.HWC sec 20
7.AYUSH HWC sec 47
8.Civil Hospital Mani Majra
9.Civil  Hospital sec 45.
          These dental Chairs shall become a backbone for dental screening of residents and children of Anganwadis and Schools.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
