Technical Education-cum- Chandigarh Skill Development Mission win SILVER in the 66th SKOCH Award 2020

Chandigarh.30 July,2020:The Department of Technical Education-cum- Chandigarh Skill Development Mission, UT Chandigarh, participated in the 66th SKOCH Award 2020.

Today, the SKOCH Group announced specialized award based on the performances made by the organization/States/UTs, during the year 2019-20. The whole selection process consisted of five rounds including short-listing, presentation, expert interview and voting.

Finally, the Director Technical Education-cum-MD CSDM has brought glory for Chandigarh by wining SILVER in Governance for implementation of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna (PMKVY) alongwith SKOCH ORDER OF MERIT. Last year the department also won Skill Development Bronze award.

Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) 2017

Chandigarh 10 th August 2017: In compliance of the directions of the Government of India to take steps for improvement of ranking in “Ease of Doing Business’ index, the Chandigarh Administration has notified Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) 2017. The existing building byelaws/orders/notifications issued from time to time have been reviewed bya committee.
