Adviser Launches Mini Covid Care Centre in Sector 47 Community Centre

Chandigarh, 19th May 2021: The Project Q Mini Covid Centre was inaugurated today in Sector 47 Community Centre in the presence of Sh. Manoj Parida, Adviser to the Administrator, Chandigarh. This mini Covid centre was launched by Rotary Satellite Club of Chandigarh in association with Chandigarh Administration. This is the 20 bedded centre has been made to provide relief to the sufferings of Patients. Many philanthropists and Rotarians played a pivotal role in functioning of this. Sh. Manoj Parida, Adviser to the Administrator expressed his gratitude to Rotarians RK Saboo, Tanu Mehtani and MP Singh for contributing in the welfare of the society in such tough times. He also said that, “ The Chandigarh Administration will extend every possible help to run this makeshift hospital.” Sh. Yash Pal Garg, CEO,. Chandigarh Housing Board-cum- Nodal Officer for Mini Covid Centres was also present there.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
