Resume the functioning of Registering & Licensing Authority U.T., Chandigarh for public dealing w.e.f. 01.06.2021

Chandigarh.27th May,2021:Consequent upon increasing number of cases of COVID-19 in Union Territory a lockdown has been imposed by the Chandigarh Administration in entire Union Territory. Being highly public dealing department, the office of Registering & Licensing Authority, U.T., Chandigarh had also been closed by the Chandigarh Administration in order to contain the spread of COVID-19. Now, in view of decreasing number of cases, it has been decided to resume the functioning of Registering & Licensing Authority U.T., Chandigarh for public dealing w.e.f. 01.06.2021 with limited services only on the basis of fresh online appointments. Initially, the following services shall be started through online appointment: Table Therefore, it is for the information to the general public that the appointments already booked by the applicants shall stand cancelled in order to avoid gathering in the office premises. However, the applicants who desire to book an appointment for the above said services can visit the official website www.chdtransport.gov.in. The portal for booking of appointment will be made functional w.e.f 29-05-2021, 10:00 AM onwards. No applicant/person shall be entertained without online appointment. All the applicants shall be required to follow all necessary protocol related to COVID-19. In case of any sort of query, the applicants can contact on 0172- 2700341 or 0172-2700076.

“Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote".
