Chandigarh.7th June,2021:Despite the restrictions imposed due to corona situation, the Chandigarh Administration has been able to complete the process of recruitment of 360 clerical staff. Appointment letters and posting orders were issued to all the candidates today. In a formal function, Sh. Manoj Parida, Adviser issued posting orders to 05 candidates. Sh. SS Gill, IAS,Secretary Personnel & Ms. Nitika Pawar, IAS,Special Secretary Personnel were also present.
Adviser, Sh. Manoj Parida,IAS, thanked the Panjab University and particularly the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences for holding the test in a transparent manner. He also thanked Government Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sector 16 for conducting medical examination of the candidates despite heavy corona related work in the hospital. The posting orders have been issued allocating them work in 38 different departments of Chandigarh Administration.
Hon’ble Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh, Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore has directed the Personnel Department to ensure that all pending vacancies are filled up on top priority.
Chandigarh 10 th August 2017: In compliance of the directions of the Government of India to take steps for improvement of ranking in “Ease of Doing Business’ index, the Chandigarh Administration has notified Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) 2017. The existing building byelaws/orders/notifications issued from time to time have been reviewed bya committee. Since amendments to the building Rules were never compiled before, therefore, comparative analysis of existing building byelaws applicable in Chandigarh was done viz-a-viz Haryana Building Code 2016, TCPO Model Building Byelaws 2016 and NBC 2017. This exercise has simplified the building Rules as each and every rule has been tabulated and individual chapters including Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Institutional, IT Park, High Rise buildings etc. The report had been earlier approved by the Administrator, UT, Chandigarh after seeking views from general public.
