Chandigarh.10th June,2021: The Deputy Commissioner, Sh.Mandip Singh Brar, IAS held a meeting in the presence of ADC Sh. K.P.S. Mahi with all three SDMs regarding the new guidelines on Covid-19 in the City.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed the SDMs to ensure that a strict vigil would be kept on adherence to COVID-19 protocol in their respective zones. The incident commanders should ensure that face mask wearing and physical distancing is maintained. He also ordered that strict action against shops owners that violate Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) will be taken.
Further, a committee has been formed to enquire into the complaints made by the patients or affected person with regard to overcharging by the Medical Practitioners, private hospitals, clinic in Chandigarh.
The committee would consist of the concerned area Sub Divisional Magistrate, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Senior Medical Officer, Health Department, Chandigarh designated by the Director Health Services, Chandigarh, Drug Inspector, Health Department, Chandigarh designated by the Director Health Services, Chandigarh. The SDMs has been asked to take appropriate action against the defaulters for any over charging etc. diligently.
The DC also said that due to pandemic and other emergency duties, the pending court cases in SDMs office shall be expedited to keep the work on track.
The SDMs were also asked to keep a watch of unauthorised constructions through their enforcement teams for being carried out in the periphery in their respective areas.
7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
