In view of decreasing of COVID cases in U.T., Chandigarh, the office of Registering & Licensing Authority U.T., Chandigarh had resumed the public dealing with following limited services only on the basis of online appointments w.e.f 01.06.2021. Services for Vehicle Registration 1 Registration of New Vehicles 2 Registration of other state vehicles 3 NOC of vehicle 4 Renewal of Registration Certificate Services for Driving License 1 Issuance of International Driving Permit/License 2 NOC of Driving License 3 Renewal of Driving License Now, after examining the present situation of COVID-19, it has been decided to start withservices as per the following schedule onlyon the basis of fresh online appointments. Services for Vehicle Registration All services related to Registration Certificates w.e.f 21.06.2021 Services for Driving License All services related to Driving Licenses (except New Learner’s License/ Renewal of Learner’s License) w.e.f 21.06.2021 New Learner’s License/ Renewal of Learner’s License w.e.f 28.06.2021 (online booking may be done from 27.06.2021) Regular Driving Test w.e.f. 28.06.2021 (online booking may be done from 27.06.2021) Therefore, it is for the information to the general public thatthe applicants who desire to book an appointment for the above said services can visit the official website www.chdtransport.gov.inor can call on 1860-180-2067. The portal for booking of appointment will be made functional w.e.f 20-06-2021, 10:00 AM onwards. Further, the booking of appointments for New Learner’s License/ Renewal of Learner’s License andRegular Driving Test be made functional w.e.f 27-06-2021, 10:00 AM onwards.No applicant/person shall be entertained without online appointment. Pulse Polio Campaign

Chandigarh, 4 th   April, 2017:   Activities conducted for three days i.e. from 2nd – 4th April, 2017 during Pulse Polio Campaign ‘Do Boond Zindgi Ki’ to win the war of eradicating Polio from the society and to immunize the children in the age group of 0-5 Years with Oral Polio Drops were successfully completed today. The campaign was held for three days in which Day 1 was dedicated for Booth Round and Day 2 & 3 were planned for door to door visit to immunize all children of Chandigarh in this age group with Oral Polio drops. A total of 1, 00, 236 children were immunized with oral polio drops during pulse polio activity and 929 teams visited 2, 65, 042 Houses and immunized Children with oral polio drops on day 2 and 3. E auction of various commercial, residential and industrial sites to begin in Chandigarh

7th January 2019: Chandigarh Administration is about to begin the e auction process of various commercial, residential and industrial sites in Chandigarh. 10 residential sites on freehold basis,13 commercial sites on leasehold basis and 1 industrial site on leasehold basis are proposed to be e auctioned. The auction will be made public on 9th January 2019 at 9:00 AM and the documents can be submitted/EMD can be paid from 9th january till 23rd January 2019. Document/EMD approvals will be given from 24th January till 30th January. In addition to this the Estate Department will create a help desk at Estate Office Chandigarh on the above dates to create digital signatures of the applicants. Bidding will begin from 31st January (9:00 AM) till 4th February 2019 (till 4 PM)
