SOCIAL SECURITY PENSION IN THE MONTH OF MAY,2021

Chandigarh.16th June,2021: The Department of Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, Chandigarh Administration is implementing the Social Security Pension Schemes viz. Old Age Pension, Financial Assistance to Widows and Destitute Women, Pension to Disabled Persons and Pension to Dependent Children of Widows. The payment under the schemes is being disbursed on monthly basis in Aadhaar seeded bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The Department disbursed the pension amounting to Rs. 312.93 lacs to 28848 beneficiaries under various Pension Schemes in the month of May, 2021. “Vote for Healthy Democracy” Campaign

Chandigarh, 18th March, 2019: Taking the “Vote for Healthy Democracy” campaign forward to motivate citizens to use their Right to Vote during the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections of Chandigarh, Government Medical College & Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh today launched a stamp with the message of "Voting is your Right, Please Cast your Vote". The stamp will be included on all the OPD cards of the patients who visit the hospital.  This initiative is a part of the drive undertaken by Medical Community to motivate more and more people to participate and vote in the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As part of this campaign, IMA has designed stickers with the message “Vote for a healthy democracy”, which will be stuck on all the prescriptions of patients.
