Social Security Pension

Chandigarh.16th June,2021: The Department of Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, Chandigarh Administration is implementing the Social Security Pension Schemes viz. Old Age Pension, Financial Assistance to Widows and Destitute Women, Pension to Disabled Persons and Pension to Dependent Children of Widows. The payment under the schemes is being disbursed on monthly basis in Aadhaar seeded bank accounts of the beneficiaries. The Department disbursed the pension amounting to Rs. 312.93 lacs to 28848 beneficiaries under various Pension Schemes in the month of May, 2021. Chandigarh, 27 th November 2018: The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 399 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation Act, 1976 as extended to the Union Territory, Chandigarh by the Punjab Municipal corporation Law (Extension to Chandigarh) Act,   1994 (Act No. 45 of 1994), intends to amend the Chandigarh Water Supply Bye-Laws 2011 as amended from time to time and as in accordance with the provision of sub-section (1) of Section 401 of the Punjab Municipal Corporation (as extended to UT Chandigarh) Act, 1994, read with sub section (2) of section 7A of the capital of Punjab (Development &Regulation) Act, 1952, the Administrator UT Chandigarh after according approval to the same propose to issue the draft of notification which is hereby published for information of the persons likely to be affected thereby.
