Chandigarh, 9th August 2021: The Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India has launched the Prime Minister’s Formulation of Micro Food Enterprise Scheme. The Department of Industries, Chandigarh, Plot No 39, Industrial Areas II invites applications from individual applicants and groups ( existing/new) under the PMFME scheme for setting up of Bakery products as ODOP for Chandigarh.
The credit linked grant 35% with maximum limit of Rs 10 Lacs will be provided to the beneficiary. The Last date for submission of the applications offline as well as online in the office of District Industries centre is is 20.08.2021 by 5:00 PM. Chandigarh 10 th August 2017: In compliance of the directions of the Government of India to take steps for improvement of ranking in “Ease of Doing Business’ index, the Chandigarh Administration has notified Chandigarh Building Rules (Urban) 2017. The existing building byelaws/orders/notifications issued from time to time have been reviewed bya committee. Since amendments to the building Rules were never compiled before, therefore, comparative analysis of existing building byelaws applicable in Chandigarh was done viz-a-viz Haryana Building Code 2016, TCPO Model Building Byelaws 2016 and NBC 2017. This exercise has simplified the building Rules as each and every rule has been tabulated and individual chapters including Commercial, Residential, Industrial, Institutional, IT Park, High Rise buildings etc. The report had been earlier approved by the Administrator, UT, Chandigarh after seeking views from general public.
