Special Casual Leave for employees registered as voters in Haryana

Chandigarh, 18 th October,2019 :The Chandigarh Administration has decided to grant Special Casual Leave on 21.10.2019 (Monday) to all those voters/ employees who are working with Chandigarh Administration/ Boards/ Corporations/ Institutions/   Industries/ Factories/ Private Sectors/ Shops and also fall within the purview of Section 25 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 and are registered voters in Haryana. This step has been undertaken to enable those enable those who are registered voters in Haryana, to exercise their franchise in the ensuing Legislative Assembly Election   of Haryana on 21.10.2019   (Monday). Download Chandigarh Housing Board application forms for various services from CHB Website

Chandigarh, 17th October 2019: It has been observed that the applicants had to visit the office of the Chandigarh Housing Board to purchase application forms for its various services. To simplify the process, the applicants can download these forms, free of cost, from the website of the CHB i.e. www.chbonline.in The applicants using the downloaded application forms will not be asked to pay anything extra. Further the existing formats of application forms, affidavits, undertakings, indemnity bonds and agreements are being revised in next about 15-20 days. Efforts are being made to simplify these forms to that extent possible so that one can use these forms without any assistance. It is also mentioned that limited printed forms are available at the Reception in ‘C’ Block of the CHB premise for the time being at the same cost.

Celebration of Apprenticeship Pakhwara at Chandigarh

Chandigarh, 16th October 2019: A State level function was organized at the U.T. Guest House today by the Directorate of Technical Education, UT, Chandigarh to celebrate the concluding function on account of Apprenticeship Pakhwara programme in Chandigarh as per the directions of the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Govt of India.   Sh. Chandigarh Housing Board Cancels Small Flats due to Non-Payment of monthly rent

Chandigarh, 14th October 2019: During the month of June 2019, 10 days special camps for collection of outstanding rent from Small Flats were organized by the Chandigarh Housing Board at 07 locations i.e Dhanas, Ramdarbar, Maulijagran, Sector-38, West Sector-49, Sector-56 and at  Industrial Area Phase-I. Further 03 days mini-camps were organized at these locations during the month of July 2019. Special Counters have also been provided in these locations to collect monthly rents. These efforts resulted into recovery of more than Rs. 10 crores during last four months but rent amount more than Rs. 20 crores are yet to be recovered from the allottees of the Small Flats.  Here it is mentioned that monthly rent of the small flats is Rs. 800/- for first five years and the same is increased by 20% after every five years. Hence the monthly rent is highly subsidized and the allottees should have cleared their dues to avoid the actions like cancellation and eviction etc. ...

Workshop on Need Based Changes

Chandigarh, 9th October, 2019: The Chandigarh Housing Board organized a workshop on 09.10.2019 about the permitted Need Based Changes at Auditorium Hall, Govt. Museum & Art Gallery, Sector-10 Chandigarh. The objective of the workshop was to make the empanelled Architects and the empanelled Structure Engineers aware about the procedural aspects of the various clauses of the Need Based Changes order dated 15.02.2019 and the Penalty Scheme dated 15.07.2019. ousHou The workshop was attended by empanelled Architects, empanelled Structure Engineers and Office bearers of many of the Resident Welfare Association. Facility for Online payment

Chandigarh, 9th October, 2019: Chandigarh Housing Board has introduced system of online payment of all types due of Residential Flats. The payment can be of installment, ground rent, penalty and transfer fee etc. Now the allottees of small flats at different locations namely Maloya-I, Dhanas, Ramdarbar, Maulijagran, Sector-38 (West), Sector-49, Sector-56 and at Industrial Area Phase-I can pay their monthly rent online. DEMAND SURVEY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FLATS UNDER SELF FINANCING SCHEME IN SECTOR 53, CHANDIGARH

Chandigarh, 9th October, 2019: The Chandigarh Housing Board intends to construct self-financing housing Scheme comprises of 492 flats of different categories in Sector-53 Chandigarh under which an allottee shall require to make 100% payment of the chargeable price before possession. For the purpose, CHB intends to conduct a demand survey and the interested eligible persons may participate by applying online at CHB website. The persons applying under the demand survey will be given preference in allotment under the scheme/ category applied by him/ her subject to their eligibility. Though the brochure of the demand survey consisting details including format of application form have been uploaded on the website of the CHB www.chbonline.in yet online application will be accepted from 14 th October 2019 to 30 th November 2019.
